1. Our Services
Get Appraisal provides vehicle appraisal reports based on the vehicle information, photographs, and documents submitted by the client. Appraisals reflect a professional opinion of value based on the information provided and available comparable market data at the time of preparation.
2. Accuracy of Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete vehicle information (including VIN, mileage, and safety certification status where applicable) and photographs. Get Appraisal is not responsible for inaccuracies in a report that result from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.
3. Quotes & Payment
Pricing is confirmed in writing before any appraisal work begins. Payment is currently collected manually — by e-transfer or invoice — after your quote is confirmed and before your finished report is delivered. We do not collect or store payment card information through this website.
4. Refunds
If Get Appraisal determines, before beginning work, that a request cannot be completed, no payment will be requested, or a full refund will be issued for any amount already paid. Once we have begun preparing your appraisal (including researching comparable values), fees are non-refundable, except at our discretion in exceptional circumstances.
5. Use of Appraisal Reports
Appraisal reports are prepared for the specific purpose disclosed by the client at the time of the request. Get Appraisal makes no guarantee that any third party (including insurers, Service Ontario, or other government bodies) will accept a given report, and recommends confirming specific requirements with the relevant party in advance where possible.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Get Appraisal's liability for any claim arising from its services is limited to the amount paid for the appraisal in question. Get Appraisal is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
